Arnold AFB Fire and Emergency Services promote fireworks safety ahead of Independence Day

Arnold Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services team members are urging colleagues to keep safety in mind while celebrating the Fourth of July holiday, including following the proper guidance if opting to set off fireworks. Some may want to involve children in Independence Day celebrations and view sparklers as a safer alternative to other fireworks. However, sparklers can burn up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit.
