Base opens more services Published Dec. 30, 2008 By 208189 Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn. -- Effective immediately, all current, retired and dependent military identification card holders can access the on base Ascend Federal Credit Union branch and the adjacent main cafeteria. Until now, these groups could access the commissary, base exchange, dispensary, VA clinic and Building 100 (A&E Building). Access to the rest of the fenced industrial area remains limited to only authorized AEDC-affiliated personnel for security and safety reasons. Visitors may enter through Gate 1 by the Fitness Center off Wattendorf Highway to access the functional areas until the main gate construction is complete in late November. -AEDC-
