ATA holds annual golf tournament

Eighty-four golfers participated in the 6th Annual Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA) Golf Scramble at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course Sept. 13. Tournament winners were Jim Griggs, Mark Kelly, Chuck Bonine and Tony Overman.

The ATA Golf Committee sought corporate sponsors in order to provide charitable donations to local community organizations. A total of $1,400 was raised by donations from ATA, Jacobs, Bank of Tullahoma and John Roberts Toyota/Nissan, as well as many gifts of merchandise which were given to golfers as door prizes.

Four organizations were chosen for a $350 donation each were: 5 Loaves 4 Kids; Heart of Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross; Manchester Angel Tree; and the Hands-on Science Center.

The ATA Golf Committee will chose four different charities each year from a list a vetted organizations by the ATA Employee and Community Activities Committee.
