Manchester native Tim Wilson, an Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA) turnaround planner for Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), was recognized as a department employee of the quarter.

Wilson was recognized for his work in developing the turnaround requirements from the internal customers, based on interviews with customers, audits of participants, interactive planning sessions and personal follow up sessions.

The requirements were inputs for the master execution of schedules for approximately 65,000 man hours of work.

Phase one of the turnaround encompassed 15,000 man hours of work for the Engine Test Facility spring turnaround completed in early 2008.

Ninety-eight percent of the work was completed as scheduled--the remaining two percent of the work was completed within one week of the turnaround completion date.

Phase two, a 50,000-man-hour effort began in June began on schedule.
Wilson has worked at AEDC for 13 years.
