Commander wishes local team good luck

Arnold Engineering Development Center Commander Col. Michael Panarisi signs a baseball for the Tullahoma National Little League for a good luck charm in the team’s next adventure. The team of 12-year-old boys recently won the state championship in Greeneville, Tenn., and are now on to the Southeast Regional Tournament in Ceredo-Kenova, W.V. The team will be competing against Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia teams all in hopes to go to the Little League World Series, which will be broadcast on ESPN. Old stomping grounds

Jack Ariola, a Camp Forrest trainee, came back for a visit 65 years later after training at the Army’s largest training facility during World War II.
